For some reason Network Setup Wizard won't load.

I click on the button, and it shows an hourglass for like a second, then nothing appears.

Has me stumped and I can't find anything on google.

    Does anyone have an answer?

Try checking if there's any networking gubbins installed by looking in Control Panel>Add/Remove Programs>Add/Remove Windows Components>Networking Services. You want at least the first one ticked (Internet Gateway.. something).

You may (also) have inadvertantly switched some network services off. Have a check using run>services.msc and google black viper's guide as to which services to use for networking.

Have you gone into the control panel>network connections and then right click on your network connection and gone to properties and checked the box that says 'Show Icon in Notification Area when connected.'

I'm pretty sure I had that when I went through Black Viper's list and switched off all that he said. I remedied it by instead of disabling the services he recommends to disable, re-enabled them but stuck them on manual control instead of automatic. Seemed to fix whatever service it was that got disabled.
