Ok so I've got my brand new macbook pro, and I want to be able to listen to my music and other stuff while I'm around the house. Until I get a proper server set up, I'll just be using shared folders on my Vista PC.
Now I've been playing around, and I can't seem to access the shared folder on my mac.
I've shared my music folder by right clicking and clicking share, and allowing everyone access to it, but I still can't seem to see it on the mac, even when I went "connect to server" and typed in my IP address.
Windows sharing is on in OSX and obviously on Vista as well.

    Any ideas?

Well done :D I was going to suggest making sure you have smb:// specified as the connection protocol in the cmd+k dialog.

I don't think you need the windows sharing on in OS X though - I'm pretty sure that's so Windows boxes can Samba into your Mac.
