Server OS cost to much so my question has now changed, is there anyway i can set up a roaming profile in another OS other than a server one, by this i mean i would be able to log in from anywhere in the house and save all my file to a drive set up just for me and all the songs would be stored on the server. The easiest way would be to use windows XP, which includes simple file sharing. There's a great guide stickied in the networking section which explains how to set it all up.
