Hi, I have a speedtouch router with 4 ports and a port for DSL, i'm running NTL 512 broadband through a set top box but i just cant get the damn thing to share the connection. It will let both pcs access eachother through the cable we have installed but when it comes to the internet it just wont work. I've tried enetering the username and password on the speedtouch settings screen but it just keeps saying DSL / INTERNET down. Because the NTL settop box isnt DSL and is plugged into the router by a crossover cable could this be the problem?. If it is how can i change RJ-45 into DSL so the connections will fit?. i am using crossover cable for all the wiring RJ-45. Thanks.
