    Hey guys,

As title just a quick networking wonder.

As you know typing ipconfig/all reveals information about the network card (ip addy/mac etc).

I was wondering if there is a command (or perhaps a piece of software) that will enable me to see what IPs on the network are in use and name them using their pc name. (i.e; 192.168.2.27 - FredPC etc etc) rather than going round to the PC's and viewing their IP in the network status area of the network connection.

    Any ideas?

    Thanks

Not quite what you want, but route print in dos will show the IPs and networks the current PC has connected to...
    - Sure there's something more suitable, but it's still too damn early for me atm!
