My computer is lacking in the storage area. 80GB isn't alot these days. So I was wondering if I can buy a 100GB hdd and set it as a slave drive, connect it and i should be able to save things to it without having to reformat my whole computer?
Yeah, just pop it in and turn on the comp. XP will mutter something about installing drivers for it and needing to restart. After that you can just format the new 100GB drive like you do a floppy from within Windows. Simple.
