Other New be* Website

I have noticed that be* has redesigned their website. Apparently a 15 year old gave advice on the new website but frankly it looks crap.

I honestly thought there was something wrong with my browser when I loaded the site, only when I looked on IE and found the same design... I quite liked their old design with the two mad old ladies

What do you guys think? I reckon the number of new customers will decrease as I'm a believer in that people judge firms by their website design.

I had to check the source to make sure they hadn't used FrontPage or something equally as bad.

 

Reminds me of the shitty electropop bands my GF likes who think a MySpace page looking like that is tantamount to a professional website. Bleurgh, in short.

 

Don't worry guys, I've emailed them telling them their site has been hacked by script kiddies.

 

Whoa that really is the worst site ive seen for what i consider a great company, What on earth were they thinking? Looks almost like its gone live without being completed

I suppose they are going for the intentionally retro barebones style that was very 2 years ago. A lot of photographers used/use it, but not so over the top. It's easy to do and doesn't detract from the content, however, not a very good idea for a big company with actual real customers...

I think it's cool lookin' though, just completely uncalled for

Then again, we are talking about it... It stands out, which is probably seen as a good thing. Potential new customers, all of us! (Well, I'm already with be, but some of you!)

It's not too bad, just could use a better colour scheme.

 

It's better than it was (it looked very similar, but very.... pink). They've toned it done slightly to what it was.

 

I thought it was written in tables for a sec.. scary.

I'm glad they changed it.

First off: Their service is good. Second off: Their support is good.

If their site was good, then they'd have to decrease the good in other areas, so the site looking like **** means that we might continue to get good service and support.

 

Love the logic, so if the site crashes do all be* customers get 100mb connections?

 

I hadn't thought that far ahead, but hey, it might happen!

 

is this the same company as o2 braodband? i think it might be. if so i am with them. glad i get to use the o2 website tho, thats enough to make your eyes bleed

 

And I thought the newly redesigned Auto Trader site was ugly, the be* one's just unbelievable.
