It is not as bad as it sounds. One of the biggest drawbacks of a black aluminium case is that it scratches and marks easily, especially if (like me) you are a hardware fiddler, constantly opening the case to add or remove components. However, if it is only the front that is aluminium, that actually makes it more attractive to me because you get the good looks with more resilience to wear and tear from the steel sides. I would still like a review of the Sharkoon, it is still very good value. Even if only the front is aluminium, it looks damn good.
Eh? I've got two anodized-black all-aluminium Lians that have been moved to and from Uni ten times, and they don't have a mark on them. Except dirty fingerprint marks. +1
Only what I have heard and seen with my mates' PC's, all that on/off with the aluminium side panels takes its toll. I have never been justify an aluminium case - the Sharkoon may change that . Edit: I may start another thread asking folks about the hardiness of their aluminium cases...
