Guys, I built this today, everything is so slow, keyboard barely works when using bios settings. This is my second time trying to install win7.
On startup and expressgate error comes up.

Really dont know whats wrong tbh. Any ideas as to why it's so slow? Waiting on win settings to load again!

Tried clearing the BIOS? Sounds like a dodgy mobo to me, especially if the keyboard's laggy in the BIOS etc.

    Try a different keyboard?

I'm half way through insalling Windows 7. Keyboard and mouse seem to be working fine now, but hopefully it fully installs.

I'm not sure my 300watt psu has the correct voltage. It may be a bit underrated. Do you think that may be causing it? I was hopeing it would be ok. After all it's supposed to be a low power mdeia centre. 300watts was the highest shuttle psu I could get last year.

Well, I'm watching Steptoe and son on my new build now, but on an abit AN2HD motherboard.

Can't really say I understand what was going on with the asus. Anyone got any ideas. Is the mobo faulty like krikkit reckons?
Or, is it most likely a voltage issue on the psu not being exact.
