It's auto and tiptronic and really nice to drive: fast and easy as hell

@Bindi: ye it's auto and tiptronic which works surprisingly well...and definitely great fun The kickdown is pretty cool on full auto too

 

Why do all the FTO's that I've seen come with massive exhausts? Has it been in the UK for a while or is it a recent import from Japan?

 

It's a recent import and yep the exhaust was on there when it came over

I like those Are you going to lower it? You could smuggle immigrants in those arches I always thought it interesting that they went with a 2l V6 too, not often you see a 2l in any configuration other than an inline or flat 4.

 

Nice car and resonably reliable from what I've read in the past looks very clean as well. Would say sommit about it being an auto but would just be repeating others lol

Somehow I don't think in this day and age you really need to put a 56k warning on threads... to be honest I have a better connection than 56k walking around town with my phone!

Ye GPX are nice Dunno what ya mean about standard transmission though?? It is a slight shame it's not manual, but ah well

No. OK she sits a little high but at least I don't have to worry when I go to a car park with bumps. My last car (205GTI) was lowered and the arches scraped all the time (a 1.6 with 1.9 wheels). Also this one has to be a little bit "missus friendly", my Clio sport 172 was lowered and the suspension was rock hard, man did I use to get earache

Ye and it makes for a lovely sounding engine with plenty of oomph. Delivers a lot at higher revs too

 

The FTO was so cool in Gran Turismo 1 , especially the LM version

I've never seen a real one
