I had some of thm once, for fancy dress (Marilyn Manson). They even freak dogs out! One of them dried out,so make sure you look after them if you them to last.
Can you get them to a certain precription? i ware contacts all the while, apart from when i sleep 'doc
You can get them prescription but they cos a bit. I have a set of all black prescription ones, they are good cos it takes most people a while to twig whats whats odd. Those are just scary though.
theyre pretty stunning...actually stunning, coughed redbull over my keyboard. where'd you get them from? id love a pair of either of these: they be'd cool for cosplay, hehe. (both from http://www.9mmsfx.com )
bentos.... sharingan would be even better if they started spinning around but i dont think that is going to happen.
that would be cool, now just got to find somewhere in the oooo kay that sells them, for a somewhat reasonable price.
Im in the UK too, if you find a place that sells them for an ok price could you email me via the forums or post here?
yeh, corse i will. ouija, i assume the pupils on the contacts are a fixed diameter, what happens when your own pupils shrink to smaller than the size of the contact pupil? just curious
I seem to remember that Argos sells them in the uk, not got a catalogue nearby, but i think they were fairly cheap? You are talking about the non prescription ones right? EDIT: Linky
Bentos, i got them from www.bigbrowneyes.co.uk Jazzle, yea I have solution for them anyway. I have 3 other pairs of cosmetic lenses, blue, green, and grey. Wouldn't mind pure red though
Bentos that website is expensive!! $200 USD a pair? No way, these were only £40 for 30 days. I wouldn't mind a pair that covers the entire eye though. They are pretty impressive.
I think those have to be custom made (best example was Darth Maul(?) - the red eyed one in star wars). They are fixed size pupil holes, so when you're in very brigth conditions your own eye colour can be seen, but more disturbingly (for the wearer) when it's dark you can't get as much light in as usualy since they cover part of your pupils.
Actually when it gets dark, your pupil gets larger and your vision is blurred around the edges. It's a little annoying.
