I don't know whether it's just a bad picture, but I just don't like it at all. The legs look like he's wearing steel half-masters. Reminds me a bit of C3PO facially too. Actually, my first thought was "The Iron Giant", and on The Register, they liken it to the robot in Fritz Lang's "Metropolis"
