Looks nice, although I'd rather have a clear luctite top, would look nicer and cleaner IMO.Anyone got a pic of the otehr side, I want to see wether it s a sandwich type block or not...

I don't think the 6800's have backside RAM...only if and when the 512MB versions come out I believe.

I know there isn't RAM mounted on the backside, but if its anything like my 5950, the RAM is coolable on both sides. I just like the extra capacity, but I'm no expert, DangerDen is.

Besides, you can hardly see the GPU side when its in your case...mainly the "up" side.

I talked with the DD guys at PDXLAN for quite a while, they have the NV Waterblock in their MountainMods UFO case, and were there to game more than sell.

They didn't really go into any plans for ATI, but I wasn't asking them those questions.

    Some general impressions-
1.) the green plastic is clearly a "small run" limited avail, not even sure if they will sell them, maybe more promotional in nature, the plastic is very hard for them to get. They were pretty explicit on that as you have seen on the website.
2.) they said some general things about the design difficulty of making similar blocks for GFX5900s and such. When I asked if they were going to change off the Maze4GPU blocks in favor of this design for existing cards, they hesitated and indicated that the Maze4GPU would likely be around for some time.
3.) They are a great bunch of guys to sit and "talk shop" with. :)

I'm no reporter, and I'm just conveying my impressions while asking questions about my 5950 vs. future 6800 blocks and similar stuff.

Since it was installed in a cube case and sitting on the floor, I wasn't terribly eager to lay down, squint up, and try to macro focus looking like a dead cameraman in Beirut. LOL Sorry, no more pics.
