MY current desk is just too small So I want a bigger one, something along the lines of this shape and size clicky here in a light coloured wood. Like this: but with the curve the opposite way round and solid side panels instead of those `leg things` For less than £217.36 inc vat and delivery (thats the cheapest I've found, but havent looked very hard) In the UK (obviously ) Don't bother suggesting making one, because my woodwork skills are non-existant Thanks
That's a nice looking desk mate; i need a new one soon, this one's tiny; it's only about 1+1/2ft deep so my monitor sticks off the back if i want to have my keyboard in front of it...
That's the sort of desk I use at work. I have my PC at the narrow end though...so it can't be seen by passing supervisors. *n
I couldn't have one of those; i'm always putting down cards and stuff on my nice wooden desk; once that thin layer of non-conductive Al is scratched off by the sharp solder joints though, i'd be stuffed
Got the desk I originally thought of... And whats the first thing you do when you get a £217 desk? mod it with purple CCFL's (yeah, I need to tidy up... so what )
£217 Uh huh It's good quality though, steel and swiss pear, I can jump on it and my bedroom floor bounces, but the desk dosent even bend or anything
You actually tested that? I can imagine the call to the store... "Um...hi...my new desk is broken." "Okay...how did that happen?" "I was...er....jumping on it." *n
ooooo nice desk especially with the added lighting although why you would want to light up your feets and legs i dont know i got a new desk recently aswell: Got i for £5 from ikea, bargain! it was discontonued stock so we got them to take the display one off the wall
I stood on it and kind of jumped Yeah, I don't think I'll be moving it by myself, even the 2 guys who delivered it could only just about move it into place when it was assembled
He'll have nice tanned legs, and a pastey top half. (Well only if he sits at the desk naked!) One summer I was working at a manufacturer for office furtiture. They said I could have a desk top (just like the toop pic) - without the legs. So I have it on top of a cheap Argos desk! Seems to work ok.
Nice desk. Looks like one I have made before. The price wasn't so steep, was it? I have had more expensive desks. And that's just a bit more than my multitech interactive leisure station cost... I like the purple ccfl under it
