Rant new forum layout..

This is the worst layout I have ever seen.
I used to love coming on to this forums to browse around and what not.
Its all quite confusing now. I have been here a long time. but now I don't even bother.

just thought someone should get feed back. there might already be a thread about this .. but i can't find anything anymore.

ps I am an IT guy. I am on a system all day long .. linux mac winblows all alike in my world. I have to know them all cold.

jesus.. I can't even make a new post. I had to pick some sort of tag os some bs.

 

Not confusing to me; The few forums I use are all powered by vBulletin so the only real difference is how things are categorized and their policies on avatars and graphical sigs.

 

Yeah, we had this discussion going on in the feedback thread a while back. The general consensus was that most people either love it or hate it. I think it simplifies things considerably as far as reading, replying, and actually finding what I'm looking for.

It's certainly different from what we had and took everyone a bit of getting used to.

 

At first, I had very negative feelings about it. Now that I've had a chance to use it and make use of the filters, I'm very satisfied with it. I just wish there was a way of adding tags to previous posts.

Don't knock it until you've tried it for awhile.

 

You must not have visited for quite some time since the forum has been like this for awhile. Don't worry, you'll get used to it... change is good.

Sidetrack here... what part of WV are you from, radodrill?

I hated it too in the beginning but now that i got used to the system i think its much better then the old one.

Just get over it its not the end of the world.
