i also have to kind of think of cable management with the glass table.. and i also want to get hold of laser printer is there anyway this can be wireless so i can hide it away somewhere? can anyone recommend 2 monitors to go in keeping with the kinda setup i have coming along? and any swish cases too? seems the kind of things you guys are into more so than decorating!
Wireless print server Just jack it into the parallel port (haven't seen a USB version). For the cabling, we have translucent trunking up here which looks pretty cool, other then that get standard trunking and paint it the same colour as your walls or desk supports. Cases, keep away from acrylic, you want neatness I assume (so minimal cables), something aluminium with full stealth would look neat. and get flexible cable trunking to hide the stuff at the back. Monitors: TO really keep in style with your setup, get a meaty widescreen
ahh might be okay as long as the printer i get is parallel! but thats a wicked idea.... yeh dont know what im going to do about cables at the moment...i think wireless keyboard and mouse are essential though. also need some nice computer speakers which might look the part too.. i have a full cinema setup now for the tele (4x TDL STUDIO 10 floor standing speakers and centre speaker) so might end up running it through those. just some essential bits and peices to think about now... decorative items
Okay fellas i just found a nice website on the net which does comtemparary furniture, its expensive but what are your opinions of it? considering they are nearly 200 pounds each.. the cd rack alone is 180. I looked at this stuff as its all pretty modern but not entire glass as before and i think the metal kinda contrasts a bit. But coupled with the speakers, and the other homely bits like a nice big rug, some display bits and peices and some pictures and things, i think it will sperate it a bit. i also like this clock very much.. but the speakers im using are beech...and i would prefer the lighter wood.. the clock is in oak.. but perhaps i could have a local carpenter make one for me?? see what you think...
