Budget: 60€ +/-10€ Main uses of intended build: Sports and racing games Parts required: Gamepad Previous build information (list details of parts): I had a XFX gamepad but it had a poor quality, since after some gamming sessions the D-PAD did not work. Extra information about desired system: It must be a quality product since I wish not to buy a gamepad every year. Thanks for the help, ziza
To make you spoilt for choice you can get the PS3 controller. I find my left hand fingers gets numb gripping the xbox controller. Which is annoying as I prefer the layout of the xbox controller.
I don't have big hands so for me the PS3 controller is not the best option. Thanks for the reply I see the xbox controller is the top at this time. regards
Pretty much agreeing with everyone else, but don't forget that you can get a Microsoft Wireless XBox Controller + Wireless Reciever within your budget. I have a computer screen in the corner of the room and a television a few metres away. Having the wireless controller really helps me to easily game on either monitor. Also, when you get a receiver, you can connect up to four controllers to one receiver.
I would also recommend the xbox controller, but I quite like my wireless one, although it did take about 30 mins to try to get it to sync.
Do I have any delays with the Wireless Receiver? To play FIFA with friends it has advantages to have a wireless controller. What about the Razer Onza TE? It does have the same features plus two buttons and adjustable joysticks. regards, ziza
I've used a wireless receiver and Xbox controller for a while and don't notice any delay, I bought the wireless receiver from ebay (of course ) it said genuine but who knows, I had to manually install the driver (win 7) through the device manager other than that it works great. You can get MS drivers here.
I've got 4 wireless 360 controllers and have been meaning to get a wireless receiver for PC for a while. Is ebay the only place you can get them now? Most of the ones on ebay aren't genuine, but does it really matter? There isn't exactly much to go wrong, and it's only ~£5.
Ive got an old Saitek one which is pretty much a dual shock PS2 controller never had any gripes using it. tend to drive better with it than using a steering wheel!
Ive never noticed any, and I haven't had to change the battery yet and Ive had it for over a month now.
I have this also..it is cheap and the bomb! £5.95 here:- http://www.gamingzap.com/saitek-p380-usb-dual-analogue-pc-controller.html
