Other New glass - Sigma 70-300mm APO DG

    I decided to treat myself and got the above.

    Two days in, and I'm getting to grips with it, I think·

    They were all shot handheld, as I don't fancy lugging a tripod around when I'm meant to be walking the dog...

    I have one myself, very good lens for the money, although I'm finding a need for a bit more reach now.

    ditto, very fun lens to play around with... bit slow in low light but for the price its awesome:D

    Some terrific shots there - love the frog ones on your flickr stream.

    I did look at this lens, but went for Nikon 18-200 VR instead. Not as much zoom, but I preferred not needing another lens for wider angle shots...

    Great shots, hope you enjoy the lens.

    Sigma are really making some good glass these days.

    That Mandarin shot is wicked sharp, love sharp pictures.

    Looks like a great lens (from what I see here anyway)
