    Hi,

I recently sold my ati HD6970 and downgraded / just installed a R5-230 but the issue is that no signal is being detected by the monitor. The fan on the card is spinning and everything else seems to be working.

I have tried the DVi and VGA outputs and tried the card in different PCI slots but nothing comes up. The mobo has no integrated graphics so can't test that, any ideas?

Did you enable CSM (compatibility support module) in the UEFI?
    Or
Set UEFI to Legacy mode, to act like the old BIOS?

Sounds like it's DOA - rare but not unheard of. The fan spinning means nothing more than the fan works; the card itself could be completely borked.
