I concur. I went from level 12 to 18 and earned 1.5 million credits in less than 10 minutes courtesy of a loaned Citroen C4
Going to have to have a go again tomorrow to cash in on these events before they close. Good job I've got the house to myself, full volume racing to sound like the real thing, . If my 5.1 was digital I'd hook that up to the PS3 too, I think I best leave the seats in my dads TVR though, don't think he'd be too happy if he came back and found one missing,
I've spend some 4 hours racing online with a friend and something is really wierd therein the personal lobby races. The cars have much worse grip and handling then in GT-mode, allthough we used the cars from our favourites. I didn't noticed this in the open lobby races tho.
Seasonal events? I guess that's an online thing? If so, I sure hope my ethernet cable arrives at the weekend so I can hook my ps3 up to my non-wifi router.
This is true - the other day I spent about 4 hours trying to do the Mini Cooper S one and today I got gold first run with a few tweaks to my Super Cooper! The one with Nascars on Nurbergring is still crazy hard though - the best I have managed is 11th place! I need those inflatable sauasges you get in bowling alleys all the way round nurbergring as I spend so much time on the grass!
4 million? The 908 Matmut, that thing screams. Or find yourself a group C LMP. If not then buy as many rally cars you can and transform them into a) drifters b) group-b rally cars. Or just buy/or build yourself an entire garage full of classic european cars. I've started with the Type E but that thing is garbage with full engine upgrades. Waste of money if you get all upgrades. But with 300-ish HP, it's a heavenly drifter.
This would make sense, if the same thing would occur in the open lobby races, which it doesn't. It only feels that strange, when you open your own lobby (Community-tab -> Lounge) and drive against a friend there.
Does anyone else find it odd that you can't upgrade brakes in the tuning shop? I also don't seem to be able to adjust things like brake bias, unless I am missing it...
This isn't exact as it was a week or so I actually played the game but the following happened in one of the final comps in pro mode. Tried it in a ford GT and completed the ring in about 8 mins and won with the cars just behind me. Won a Veyron, kitted it upto 1150bhp, took nigh on a minute off of the lap time I'd set and won, with the cars just behind me. Do the cars speed up and slow down according to how fast you're driving? Well, I did one of the Sunday cup races and depending on what car I was in the AI times changed quite a bit, which is piss poor imo. I enjoyed it BTW, but still don't think it's as good a driver as Forza. GT just had the luck to be around when most of us were kids when it genuinely was amazing.
I finally got an F1 car and got my a-spec and b-spec up to level 25 Endurance time for B-spec Bob as soon as I have 4 capable drivers.
