Gran Turismo 5 Release Date Confirmed for November 24th, 2010 w00t, presume it's a world wide release too as normally Japan would get it before north america so
I pre-orderd it over a month ago allready. Hopefully they'll send me my copy as soon as it arrives in their warehouse. We've waited long enough

some help please guys! So like the rest of you in this topic i want this game BAD! but have no wheel and have been considering getting the new updated Driving force GT which seems to be the next best thing t the G25 which i can not afford, but i dont have any ware to attach the wheel.... and i dont want to just put it on my legs.... any cheap idea's? i cant afford one of them metal frames that are like £150 btw....
I am disappoint with the cars and tracks. 18 Honda S2000's, 11 Ferrari's. No classic Jags racers other than the obscure XJ13, the same old collection of much-loved european marques that we've seen for years with hardly anything new. No Spa, no Silverstone, no Donnington, no fictional NY track, and only 8 real-world tracks (even if one is the Nurburgring). What have they been doing for the past million years? Did they really need to do every Japanese car ever?
I'm starting to think this is going to be a very very big disappointment. If it hadn't taken so long, it may not have been as much of a disappointment, but as its taken forever, we're expecting it to be amazing, and I just don't see it yet.
large 1080p monitor steering wheel my body is ready. on another note, they prolly don't have the jags as they probably didn't get access to measure the cars data around a few tracks and the like, hence the non inclusion.
Is there really any need for 26 honda nsx!! I want it to be amazing but i still cant help but feel the series is getting a little stale.
i thought there would be more Mustangs but the offering is a little slim for my tastes. i *think* the one i want is in there but im not sure. I'll know when i see it.
As I said I built mine out of wood, the wood cost maybe 15 or 20 quid, and I got the car seat from a mate who works at a garage, they break cars, I can't remember if I paid for the seat or not, if I did it was only 10 pounds or something
I made mine out of stuff we had lying around in the shed. The steering wheel support is a old filing cabinet draw, turned on its side with the bottom take out. A piece of wood screwed to the side for the gear shifter. The pedal box is just made out of a couple of sheets of ply and hinges. I need to get a car seat though, currently I use a desk chair, and its far from comfortable,
I've decided not to get sucked in by the initial hype, and not buy at launch, and wait for you guys to say what you think.
Well I'm petrol head so I don't care what the average gamer thinks, as with all gt games I expect it to fall into 2 froips, those that enjoy the art of,driving and those that don't, the latter will more than likely get bored after a month or two. Personally I'm looking forward to some racing with proper drivers and not some dumb **** kids whose only idea I'd driving is taking you off.
