Ok. I need a new headset to go with my shiney new Titanium HD soundcard.

Dont mind spending good money on them but whats the best i can get for music and gaming, i really want to use them for my music aswell. This is an absolute must!!

Currently have the Roccat Kaves and they are not very good at all. 5.1 is just rubbish on headsets why i even bought them i dont know, they are heavy and have a real dirty sound to them when listening to music, bass is just a rattle and not a nice low tone as it should be.

Been looking at the Sennheider PC360's .... they are a lot of money ... but are they WORTH it??
Can anybody recommend something thats gonna blow my socks off for audio clarity???

I have PC360s they are pretty awesome.

People will probably recommend a clip on mic with music headphones for gaming, and for the amount you pay that is likely the best bang for buck option. If you want to stick with headsets you are paying quite a bit extra just for the fact that your cans have a mic attached.

As for sound quality alone, you won't get much better than the PC360 unless you pay ridiculous money. But the Senns are borderline audiophile cans, depending on your history of hi-fi equipment you may not appreciate them to the full.

Tried some Logitech G430 which were extremely clear, light, and breathable for long gaming sessions. As soon as I get paid next week I'm going to pick a pair up.

Edit: if you really want superb clarity, pick up a pair of astro a40 WIRED. Literally the best headset I've ever had (for music, gaming, etc...) they also have the added benefit of being geared towards gaming but are easily the best sound I've ever heard from a headset.
