And dangerous. :nono: Faecal Streptoccocal infection of the throat can result in acute Epigotttitis and result in asphyxiation. And you don't want to know what E. Coli can do when they get through the protective layer of your oesophagus or trachea. Think necrotising fasciitis.

To post your fiancé on his 10th year band anniversary concert - mean.

****ing someone you just met that evening in you fiancés and yours bed - even meaner.

Doing that while he comes home and being caught - tasteless.

Findung out it wasn't the first time - really bad.

Getting back at the ***ch by doing the above - not even near mean... :eyebrow:

There are much better things to do to her than that tbh.

The best way to do it would be to tell her you wiped the toilet with it (although you didn't), after she brushed her teeth.

Another classic is put one of her shoes in the bin (if she left a pair lying about the house), that way she'll think she's gone mad, just keep "losing" things for her.

Meh... that's all in the past now... about 1 1/2 years ago... did a couple of other things, like moving out and leaving her with the bills... tried to sue me but the law was on my side... okay and now highjacking this thread is over :)

    What's with the flatmate - it's saturday! ;-)

No, but it's childish and, as I said, potentially dangerous. A more mature stance might have been to simply confront her and end the relationship. She may be an evil bitch, but you don't have to get drawn into her games.

    I have those pans!

God this is crazy man, being in a house-share myself for 2 years now i can honestly say i kind of know what your going through. There have been many "odd" things happen here in the past, but we all had meetings to sort it out, said our pieces and are now very much all close friends. The most important thing to remember that the confrontation you will inevitably have with this person will be the forefront for the coming year of your relationship with her. So try and be as courteous as you possibly can but make sure your point gets across. For example if your saying something directly to her thats negative, make the point however you want but before you start saying it say "i dont meant to offend you, but:" or something like that. The last thing you want is by the end of the year you find someone has been messing with your butter :p.

    Caff.

Mythbusters did an episode on that. Three brushes in the bathroom, and one control in the kitchen on the other end of the building. The one in the kitchen had the same amount of fecal bacteria on it. Humans spread their dust and their waste wherever they go -- just in minute amounts.

I've dealt with tenants for 20+ years now. I can tell you from my experience this bitch is not someone you want to live with, and she will likely only become more combattive if you confront her. Your first course of action is to apologise to your landlord, and tell her you don't need a new floor or oven. If it works, why replace it? If the bitch doesn't like it, she can leave. In our contracts, a repair visit has a $50 deductable the tenant pays. If the remodeling is already done. SHE should be given the bill for both deductables. Advise your landlord on another thing we do to shut up bad tenants: If they call every other day for stupid stuff like changing lightbulbs or tightening the screws on the toilet seat, start charging the deductable for each visit. If they get what they want once, next week they will want something else.
Take pictures, put everything in writing.
Truthfully, if she called up and bullied the landlord, The landlord should send out an evcition notice. I only hope this joint contract you signed allows individual evictions. it should, if written properly.

Wow I didnt notice this thread at all!

Firstly after reading your first post - Am i the only one that was instilled with pure hatred and anger towards this girl??

Seriously dude, you need to man up (and i mean this in a really nice way!!) because you cannot have someone come in and not respect your property like that.
What was she thinking when she moved your stuff? If there was a reason and I cannot think of her being able to justify it - Never the less you have given her the chance with your letter (which is more than I would have done - I would have seriously opened a can of whoop-ass)

If shes going to be difficult about this, and in my opinion you have taken the high road in dealing with it, then you be difficult right back.

Mess her stuff up, make her stay with you guys hell - You do what you have to.

Is it me or does it seem like common sense that, when you move into a place with others living there - You start off on the best foot possible? and not do anything to annoy anyone while establishing your space too diplomatically?

She has just overthrown your area as hers and judging by your description of the conversation she had with your landlady - I would be prepared to be very direct and to the point.

Honestly I would have gone batshit crazy myself if ANYONE moved my stuff without asking me....

Seriously, **** her stuff up, move her stuff and mess it up, bag her stuff and put it in her room.

Worse comes to worse you bully her out!

Man i sound horrible!! but seriously - If anyone comes in like that and acts like a prat they deserve to be treated like that....

Man im getting really angered and emotional over this...ZEEEN.....ZEEEN....OOOOSAAAAA...OOOOOOSAAA

The people I shared a house with at Uni thought it was funny to move all the stuff out of my kitchen cupboard into a box in the living room. I went to get something late at night and found a nearly empty cupboard with a note saying, "Merry Christmas". I noticed the box had Chrimbo decs around it and lo and behold all my stuff was neatly stacked inside. It wasn't until I tried moving the box and the bottom gave out straight away that I flipped my lid. I think I nearly broke someone's nose after slamming the living room door shut at them.

    Yo.

Apologies in the delay. Well I left that letter (but written slightly differently) on friday, I can only assume she got it. Danny and I have heard nothing and my landlady has also not called, which is either good news, she got the message and understood, or she is so pissed off that she might have gone and done something worse.

As for eviction, well, my landlady has just switched the mortgage on the house and paid a phenomenal amount of money to do so, and in light of that I think she is more worried about losing rent than anything else. Which in some senses is a bit unfair on us other tenants, but as I said Danny and I both get on very well with Sue and we don't want to hassle her as she's been so good to us.

Still, there might be a plausible reason for all of this...but that should have been given when she was MEANT to ask us if it were okay to move our stuff in the first place, let alone go into Danny's room.

I'll update as more information comes through. I'll try and go upto the house tomorrow or tuesday and have a look around.

There is a siren of a certain pitch and amplitude that is used as a form of torture in some nasty places in the world, I think it brings about insanity after a while. Try and download it and play it in her room as she sleeps
