The Touch is indeed tasty but 16GB is Nowhere enough!
My 30gig 5th gen is full, me thinks a black 160gig unit is in my mind!

Erm, I guess its a case of spot the difference between the iPhone and the new iPod Touch. I can guarantee that I won't be buying any of them at the price they'll be selling them for in the UK.

 

Thats a total disappointment, where are the hard disk versions? The concept is great but its just an Iphoneless not a full screen ipod.

 

Exactly, i was expecting ipod classic capabilities with the looks of the itouch. shame.

 

Apple are making money of every AT&T transaction so props to them for raking it in!

I assume you mean having 80GB of storage. Having flash memory is better in the long run if you think about it, You get more battery life, you don't hear and feel it spin every time it plays a song and its more durable to knocks. Personally i have over 30GB of music on my 60GB iPod and rarely listen to even 2/4, i listen to hot tracks right now and go back to classics now and again depending on which mood i am in, Do we really need that much data when all it takes is a simple transfer of music over from the PC. Your not that lazy are you

my current music library is around 2.6GB right now,and it's really a lor of music, so 16GB may be too much...for me at least.
The 8gb itouchpod is quite attractive....web browsing on the go...yummy.... does the iphone have flash support, or do you have to use the Youtube app to view videos?

I hate the looks of the new nano. It's like an obese 2nd gen nano who ate a widescreen and is sick from it : it bulges around the corners...

But it's so gddamn smallll !

I like the iPod touch, but the Nano looks ugly to me.

 

This could be a killer product if they price it well, I was quite prepared to not buy Apple on my next mp3 purchase (currently nano 4gb) but this may sway me otherwise.

Touch is lovely, but such poor value for money! Makes me think maybe actually buy an iPhone...

 

im sooooo getting an 8gb nano!!! 6.5mm thick! and only £130! thats good i would pay the extra £30 for the 80gb but i just dont need that much space(or maby i do wanna get that hmmmm oh i duno)

 

could you use Skype on the iTouch???

 

I really dislike ipods, but unless Microsoft make a 100gb+ zune, then it lokos like it might be my next mp3 player. I need the space.
