well after walking out of my last job tuesday.

everything had got to me and that one shift really screwd me up with the genral manager questioning everything i did. for each of the 150 meals i cooked there was abotu 3 he didnt question. it was stupid things liek why are there 8 oinion rings in that bowl (cos there small)

so i lost it and walked out. there was other reasons liek i was promised a pay rise abotu 3 months ago and didnt get it. and the fact i was doing 50-60 hours per week. and doing triple shifts most days.

so anyways i applyed to the place next door had an interview thursday and they were supposed to get intouch so i went in today and i got the job. now all i gotta do is prove myself over the next 13 weeks. and im sorted

the best news is i am now on £5.05 per hour. and only doing 40-45 hours pweek. instead of £4.30 and doing 50-60 hours. and the odd week they dont need me cutting my hours to 30.

so im happy. but i have lost about £400 worth of holiday pay cos of my temper. oh well what i didnt have i cant miss.

I need to look for a new job after the exams so i have a bit of money in the bank for uni. Currently working at John Lewis but they've refused me any overtime so i'm outta there which is a shame coz its a good place to work.

Glad to hear you've got a new job. Hopefully the new job will offer you overtime anyway if you need the extar cash. Have fun although i'm impressed your still alive doing 60 hour weeks.

well it hurt so much workin all those hours but they were so short staffed it was unbelivable. there was 6 cheffs to share between 7 13 hour days. and each cheff has to have between 1 and 2 days off per week.

but now i feel normal and i dont look like the walking dead. i actually look like ive seen the sun. as all i did was work 6:30am-3pm go home sleep work 6pm-12pm most days.
