Wow, they put a lot of effort into the trailer, I hope there's as much in the game. I'm looking forward to this.

    Do u think l4d2 is worth £27 ? (pre-order price).

I got l4d game of year edition for £15 a few days ago and i am surprised just how little their is, 4 very short campaigns, no story, no cutscenes and quite old looking graphics.

I don't think it's worth anymore than £15, and looking at the l4d2 gameplay videos what ur doing looks exactly the same as l4d.

These games are almost like half life episodes and i think full price for these is a bit steep.

I would get l4d2, but £27 just to do the same thing seems too much. They should have made more dlc campaigns for l4d instead of a sequel.

I think it is TOTALLY worth it; there is so much to do in the first game, 5 campaigns and well over 100 downloadable maps from L4D Mods (50+ Campaigns / 100+ Survival Maps). The thing you have to remember is this isn't a single player game, just because you can, doesn't mean you should and I don't mean vs which by the way is great if you can get 6+ people.

I have to say that owning L4D1 already, I'm going to go with Erratum1 and wait 'til L4D2 is ~£15 before I get it I reckon.
Just not different enough to L4D1 to warrant nearly £30

pretty much my thoughts, i have no doubt it will be a very very good game. I just don't want it all that badly (still enjoying l4d). That and it has no bill

If you head over to this thread (and scroll to the bottom) you can get it for £20.

I buy one game before Christmas per year, this pre-order is cheaper than the original game at launch, both demo and full game will pre-load and I won't be waiting on a strike-ridden postal service for my pre-order, which is only £7 less, and if it's as good and as expandable as the first, I will play it for 300 hours. So as far as I'm concerned, I'm cool with the price.

Now if it was MW2 on the other hand... :p
