    Hey Guys,

So my dad is fed up with his laptop (Dell XPS 17) due to a number of issues so dell have given him a refund so he is now on the prow for a new one.

We have up to £1500 but less is better as then mum will be happy too :thumb:

    It needs to:

Be approx 15"display (17 was quite bulky for him)
    Well Built
    1 possibly 2 HDD bays
    4GB+Ram
    Webcam
    Suitable for web browsing
Suitable for heavy access databases for his work

If possible full keyboard (inc number pad), now he has always had intel so ideally i5/i7 but if there is a genuine AMD competitor then why not!

Had a look at the dell business line but wondered what you thought, we dont need to worry about SSD as he has a 128GB Corsair Force 3 I got him a while back.

So what we looking at then guys?

    Matt

Personally I would recommend a pcspecialist custom laptop, will save you some money there and you can have what you want :)
