Good evening everyone on this fine forum :D... I though I would show you the newest LCDC plugin. It's called Fraps. What it does is allow you to see the Frames Per Second on any Open GL or Direct X games. As well as see other little tid bits of information, like total frames and so on. With this, LCDC got a new plugin... :D

Now some LCDC shots... :D (please note, this is the hardest LCD to take a picture of, it looks much better in real life)

Showing you the current FPS and the screen resolution in the game...

This screen shows you the game you are playing and the CPU load on the bottom

Last, Here is a 20 second FPS graph. It uses 3 lines, showing a range of 0FPS to 30FPS at the top. The bargraph updates every 1 second giving you a nice 20second FPS dipsplay. (the update time can be between 1second and 60seconds..

Stop by the LCDC site to grap it :D Enjoy!!!

Just one question. On the third pic you say it shows the fps, 0-30, right? Well what if you get FPS ratings of, oh, I dunno, ~270 (in UT2k3)? How would that show?

And BTW, that LCD looks good even from the pictures =).

in the Historical Chart plugin, you can set the minumum and maximum values... I just chose to set it at 30 because OFP kills my system (T-Bird 1.1@1.2, 512 DDR, 128meg Ti4200)... but you can set it as high as you want and then it will show the graphs properly to your settings...

I have a question while you are here. It is a little off topic actually. Alright, a lot off topic. Are there any plans to make a red version of the LCD shown (LK204-25)?

Yah, I love the LK202-25 with inverse red, but there is just something in my modding blood that says "4 lines are 3 times as good as 2 lines". Obviously my modding blood can't do math :D . But 4 lines really do make all the difference from 2.
Your superiors should think more like you

Sweet! I've been using Fraps for a while now. Glad to see it being implemented into LCDC.

I've just updated it again so you can now also report high and low FPS rates :)
