although thats not a very nice way of saying it I agree, cant stand that sorta "new rock" stuff, seems to be aimed at 13-15yr olds (no offense 13-15yr olds )
That would be a nasty way of saying it if I wasn't sure he was joking Btw I think 13-15 is a bit of an over-estimate. My little bro and all of his mates are into linkin park in a big way, but I'm only 16 and didn't like them any more when I was 14 or 15.
I dunno mate. They released nearly every song off their debut album as singles. Now they've run out of material they rehash all their old songs by masking them with a goofy electronic remix? Sounds a bit of a pants idea to me. I've heard the latest rehash single, sounds just like the old version. I listened to the first album for 2 weeks solid after I got it (on import back in Winter of 2000, mid-November) and never listened to it again. Got old real fast. ...then releasing single after single? Blech. Not my bag baby
I am not going to start saying I don't like it because I havn't had the oportunity to listen to the new album ... I agree that they could have at least redone the singing aswell (in the one they just released or are releasing) Bit dissapointed that they havn't released some new (i mean completely new) material ..
Sheesh There is a fair amount of new material on the album, there isn't a single track that hasn't had its original lyrics changed and re-sung...as for the remixing, it's absolutely godly producing. Just because a lot of young skate kids are into it, doesn't mean you have to stop appreciating the music...
But like I said, the new single sounds just like the old version and the lyrics are identical... Doesn't say much for the rest of the album then *sticks with the new GlassJAw disc as album of the year main contender*
Yes. GlassJAw are my fav band. They r0x very much I've heard some of the new KoRn and I thought it sounded like Def Leppard, ha ha ha My Top 5 Albums Of The Year So Far: 1. GlassJAw - Worship and Tribute 2. Thrice - The Illusion of Safety 3. Bad Religion - The Process of Belief 4. Taking Back Sunday - Tell All Your Friends 5. Finch - What it is to Burn If you like any kind of rock music in the slightest I can't see you doing wrong in grabbing any of the afforementioned albums
i like the new korn album, tear me down is a fantastic song & the video is just so cool (shame it looks like what school was like for me for most of the vid) but i still thnk the muse album - oragin of symetry is fantastic, just the right mix of slow yracks (screenager) & then rip your head off tracks (plug in baby leaps from your speaker system) but the live album hullaballo is also very cool
ahhh, origin of symetry by muse, fantastic stuff!! i think all 3 albums by muse so far have been outstanding. i will say tho, i do not mind listening to the new linkin park album (my sister has it). im more looking forward to supergrass' new album! woohooo!!!!
all, all my hate cannot be found, hate can not be found, i will not be found by your godless scheming, you, you can try to tear me down nope ive listened to korn for years, heck my mother has freak on a leash on tape in her car seriousely she does besides aerials by SOAD can sound ver very depressing depending on how you listen to it im still depressed as my lass is still not answering any of my e-mails & she going abroad with her psycho of a step dad on friday
i have oragin of sysmetry & hullaballo, saving for the dvd of hullaballo i did have the first album (cant remember the name) but when my diskman was stolen when someone broke into my house that disk was in it:cries: :cries:
