    Hey folks

I suspect my motherboard has died. My computer blue screened and now won't boot - fans spin up, but nothing appears on screen and no power is going to the mouse or keyboard.

I have an i7 920 CPU and the Mobo is an asus p6td deluxe.

Any recommendations for what Mobo (and CPU, if needed) I should look at? I don't really want to spend much, it's been an expensive month...

Have you tried all the usual tricks?

CMOS reset, memory and cpu re-seat, different gpu, different PSU, etc.?

No, not had a chance to try everything yet.

    Reset the cmos - nothing
    Reseated the ram - nothing

I've got another GpU kicking about somewhere so tomorrow I'll dig it out and try that.

Bizarrely windows "gracefully" shut down after the bsod but now I just get a black screen, no sign of life at all.

    AAAAAARGH.
