I´m looking for a new mouse and a keyboard and im a hardcore gamer. So i was surfing the net and i stumbled to logitech´s site and saw Logitech´s G5 and G15. The mouse is like the MX series but has a laser and is 2000dpi and the keyboard is just cool. I was wondering if G5 was a good mouse and anyone has it/tried it and how it is.
from what the reveiws I have read, and the fact of previouse experiance with logitech, I'd say the G5 would be an exelent choice, I am getting one when they come out over here. As for the Keyboard, I don't have an opinion on that really, I may get that keyboard though if money allows. Hope this is a help. Yes, ive read a lot of reviews and the only bad thing they mension is: "Only one side button and price". But i dont really think that it means so much if its so good for games. The keyboard is so 1337, with a lcd screen that u can use to see winamp playing and much more. I think i will just buy it tomorrow if i can.
I really dont think it all that necessary to go out and spend a large amount of money on Keyboard and mice...even if you were a pro. Check this out: http://www.purepwnage.com/ "FPSDoug" & "Teh_Pwnerer" both pros & both using what look like standard "Microsoft Natural Multimedia keyboards, & Intellimouse explorers, althought Jeremy uses a trackball. Sure the logitech hardware looks cool but if the pros aint using it I'm sure that standard stuff would be just fine.
Ahh i know that but, i whanna get a new mouse and a keyboard.. So why not step it up a little bit, ive had my MS 3.0 for 2 years and its beginning to fail. And "FPSDoug" and "The_Pwnerer" .. pro´s u say Stupid fools would i say
I so very hope you're joking about them being pros, but they're right: the Microsoft Natural Elite keyboard is the best keyboard there is, end of. As for mice, I love the shape and response of my MX1000 . Logitech, for the most part, do make the best peripherals on the market. If you totally can't stand an ergo keyboard, and won't get the MS Natural Elite, go with the Logitech Elite keyboard. Tis got a nice feel, if not quite as heavenly as the MS Natural.
I have ordered the mouse and the keyboard but i wont get it until first monday. I will tell you how it is
I got a G5 yesterday very pleased with it so far, very very acurate. The Weight thing is a bit of a gimick, but the cartrage is fun to play with The DPI switch is very handy too. Improved my CS game too. 'doc
Good to know, ive oredered it but im not going to get it first next week i think. I just got a email that says that they´r not going to get it as fast as it was going to be because they are so many who whant it and the cant get it
Yeah, i think it looks so nice and it must be good. Dont really care about the money because i dont change it so often.
