    Hello everyone

    I am pretty new on graphic LCDs' World (I am currently using an alphanumeric HD44788 compatible through LPT) and I would love to extend my knowledge on the graphic ones. I found the items in a well-known online selling website, it is called "128x64 Graphic LCD for EasyPIC5" with the following features

    * Display construction-------------------12864B DOTS
    * Display mode---------------------------STN
    * Display type----------------------------Positive Transmissive
    * Viewing direction-----------------------6 o' clock
    * Operating temperature----------------Indoor
    * Driving voltage-------------------------Single power
    * Driving method-------------------------1/33 duty, 1/6bias
    * Type-------------------------------------COB(Chip On Board)
    * Number of data line--------------------8-bit parallel
    * Connector-------------------------------Pin

    MECHANICAL DATA:

    ITEM WIDTH HEIGHT THICKNESS UNIT
    Model size 93.0 70.0 12.7(max) mm
    Viewing area 70.7 38.8 - mm
    DOT(Size) 0.48 0.48 - mm
    DOT(Pitch) 0.52 0.52 - mm
    Diameter of mounting hole 2.7 mm
    Weight About 50g

    VDD(Operating Voltage) 2.7-5.5V
    Vlcd (LCD Voltage) 3.0-7V

    The image show also the pin configs, 20 pins in a row CS1,CS2,GND,VCC,VO,RS,R/W,E,D0...D7,RST,VEE, BK+, BK-

    I think, regardless the pin positions, that these are the contacts needed to make it work through an LPT port. Again, it is based on KS0108 controller (Chip On Board).

    Going to my concern, it is depended on the title of the display. That "for easypic5"...does not mean anything to me, and I would seek your support before buying it.

    Thanks in advance for your help, and have a great day!

    Fabio :D
