New PC 4 Games On a Budget

    I am looking to build a gaming system for under 700 dollars. I want it to be amd. I am looking for suggestions or ideas for the following components and where to get them, and how much they are. Thanks fellas....

    MOBO
    CHIP
    POWER SUPPLY
    DVD-R
    HD
    1000 MB of ram
    COOLING IDEAS?

    I did that for my dad last summer, he dosent game but I do. It had crap for a vid card but the rest was good. It came in for less than $600, I dont think it would overclock all that great but here's what it has.

    Chanitech s754 model?
    Athlon 64 3000
    512mb value ram
    480w ps brand/model?
    A Open DVD/RW, a good one
    160gb sata I think is a seagate
    Chainitech fx 5500 - that overclocked quite well actually
    I like zalman but you should look at reviews

    Its not very upgradeable but it works like a champ and in another 8 years when the cheapo decides to upgrade agian it should still work.

    Definately go for s939 and pcie those will give you the best possible upgrade path when you decide to and you wont have to break the bank to do so.
