So i came up with this idea to tru and breath some new life into these tanks! away to add your own signature logo or idea! Adding a colored plex insert to the res can make a new feature, i used a very simple design for this, but better designs can be used, etching could be done and or sponsor logo's could be used,even diff color plex to suit your mod. As i said this is a very simple design but you guys get the idea
Inner feeder tubes, help sup turbulance 1/4 beb tap for gas threads Clean cut Gluing feader tubes to base allow to dry 2mins Slip 51mm thick tube over Glue Attach fittings Almost finished ready for bench testing
Last but not least some Leak and bench testing A basic setup with pump (mpc350 "unmodded") DD Block and 1/2 flex. no leaks very happy with this idea i think UV lights would help to add to effects .
if you took your plexi to a jigsaw and did a tribal type cut and slipped that it it would look sweet! also wiring UV leds into the base would look cool
Very cool idea. Not sure if you've mentioned it before, but where do you get the plexi cylinders (and if not in the US, anyone know of some US stores that would have them)? I think I just got a cool idea provided I can get a drill press And I've gotta say, nice picture-taking work. Really pro looking, especially the one where you're holding it up and the one just above it.
Tis rather cool. It looks a bit plain, though..I dunno, the green plexi looks somewhat out of place. I can't put my finger on it. You certainly have skills though.
the idea is you can design your own ideas to spice it up, the possabiltys are endless, red green blue purple orange, etched dragons or chars, sponsor logos etc, The idea is just to add spice an old feature we use all in our pcs, heres some UV fun Some scrap plex my Fav shot!!

I love those ideas Defyant. Thanks to you my first encounter with bondo turned out really well during the last week. What you're doing to this reservoir though, looks nearly like pr0n... It's sizzzzling HOT!
