Depends on what type of photo editing, i quite ofter am playing about with photo's of 14, 000 * 8, 500 pixels, and running that on a conroe still takes a little bit to process.

That will easily suffice, sounds like you want to overclock it ;)

Sounds like your buying it for you, when she gets bored with it or something :p

    E6600 and P5B ;)

    Looks good to me! :thumb:

I still think 2Gb of RAM is probably overkill, but hey. :)

Yeh I can drop that down to suit the budget but I thought it gives wiggle room.

    I'd skip the Liberty 400. Try the Seasonic S12 380 or 430.

I'll stick with the liberty, its cheaper, modular and its enermax which is all plus points.

Hmm, enermax only has a 1 year warrenty, if i remember correctly, and there seems to be some long term issues; I've seen a few go out in the past month or so, at Hardforum. At least 4-5. Just out of warrenty.

They're still a solid alternative. And modular and cheap is a plus. Your choice.

Since you're not overclocking go for the board which offers the best/required features?
