Hi im looking for a screen in the 23" - 32" area, I do alot of 3d design / gaming / movie watching. These are a few of the screens i was looking at Apple 23" Cinema Viewsonic N3000w 30" Hyundai HQL260WR 26" & 32" Cheaper is better but nothing much over a grand, Any bad points about any of those screens, which is better? any advice on looking for a screen? ill be running the screen off a 7800GTX (amd x2 4400+ / 2Gb ram) system. Ive heard alot about the Apple screens and them needing dual-DVI to run at full RES, the 7800 says it has Dual-DVI would this be able to run the apple at that high res, and is it even worth it going that high, Just looking for something with great graphics and lots of space to design on. Thanks.
DELL Ultrasharp 2405FPW 24" ?? Whats the difference in that and the Apple? ( apart from £300 and 1" - that should be a good enough reason anyway lol) The apple says "HD" is that just two letters they add in or does it have high definition? the Dell looks awesome and is pretty much the same size, are there any better then it? and does it come in a bigger size? I like the idea of a 32" screen, but it may be overkill?
Yeah the Dell Ultrasharp 2405FPW 24". I honestly don't know too much about huge monitors like these. But, that 24" pwns. Just wait for everyone to come and say. Theres been a few Dell vs Apple reviews, and its pretty close most the time
They do a 26" (W2600) LCD TV... but I reckon you should plump for the 24" 2405FPW if it's for use with your PC (rather than a dedicated HTPC). The 24" model , and I'm gonna be writing to Santa to see if he can bring me one
Cool, cheers guys, Just have to wait for my next paycheck and ill be one step closer to my perfect pc Anyone know if its worth getting SLi with this screen, ive been trying to decide beteen getting 2 x 6800GT or ULTRA's or one 7800GTX?? ill be running an X2 4400+ will the gfx still be just as CPU bound with the 2 6800's as it is with the 7800GTX ?
Any makes i should look out for in the 7800Gtx range? The BFG and XFX are my main choices atm. Installed a BFG 7800GT on my m8s pc and its soo nice Have to pay for my bike to get fixed now So i cant spend anymore money on stuff, will have to wait for a while.
Dell Ultrasharp 2405FPW Cheesecake! You really can't go wrong with 24", 1920x1200 and 16ms. I am staring into one now and I love it! Mine doesn't have a single dead pixel and I don't see any ghosting in games so buy buy buy!
