i would get very different cooler. The Alaska ones are very cheap and low quality. If you want it very quiet then geta zalman cooler or get an alpha pal 8045 and put a silent fan on it such as an evercool.

Taisol 760 over the Akasa.....I have used both in my time and the Akasa is very cheap and cheerful, but far inferior to the Taisol. No noticeable noise difference either!

    Sweet monitor :)
If you're in the UK, then i'd go for that 550W PSU from ebuyer, you never know when you'll need extra power.

it doesn't matter if you don't overclock t is a very poor cooler and i am not sure that it is rated to an xp 2000+. You would also get very high temps which would shorten the life of the chip. You would be a lot better off getting a decent cooler straight away. The taisol 760 would be much better and its not that expensive either.

it might be. You will have to check whether or not the cooler is rated that high. I wouldn't trust a £7 cooler on a chip that cost that much.

it should be but you want to watch the temps very carefully and if they get to high then shut down the machine untill you get a new cooler. How long do you think it will be untill you get another cooler.
