no, Thermaltake products are very poor and sound like a jet engine.

Also the alpha pal 8045 bolts on to the motherboard so you don't have to worry about core crushing.

    hmmmmm.

so the best cooler to get in my price range is the taisol, and you are certain that this will be fine with my XP2000+ ?

    thanks once again, lol.

The latest heatsink from Taisol. Well known for high quality heatsinks. The CGK760092 is similar to the ever popular CGK742092 but comes complete with an impact forged copper insert for improved thermal transfer. This Heatsink also comes with the famous Taisol Clip, known to be one of the easiest to use clip Mechanisms around.

    Key Features:
    - For AMD Athlon up to and beyond 1.2GHz
    - High Speed 2-ball bearing Fan
    - Cold Forged Aluminium with impact forged Copper insert

    Specs:
    - 0.18 Amp Rated current
    - 2.16 watt Rated Input
    - 4800RPM Fan Speed
    - 21.19CFM Fan fitted
    - 3 Pin connector

it says 1.2 ghz and beyond so i do't kno wif it would be good enough.

You will probably have to pay out for a good quality heatsink to stop t from overheating.
