    I dont think its worth it, After all the geild tranquillo is near silent even though it has a fan.

    I can get a Noctua NH-D14 for the same price.

    Yes, there's a lot of metal, but the price is still too steep. It'd be no use in a fanless case too, so you may as well get a cooler with a quiet fan (one that's quieter than the case fans)

    How about, DAMN THAT'S BIG.

    And the other fans in the case aren't exactly silent anyway.

    I would, then fit the case with a single 140mm fan to direct air through the case passing that heatsink. I've done it before, and probably do it again at some point.

    Saying that, its an awful amount of cash to spend out.
