Come on mookie - give us the details. Maybe telling us will lift it off your chest a bit? I hate the feeling when you've got something bearing down on you like that, it's so depressing...
Oh man, I love the preemptive strike idea. Even though with my luck he wouldnt be opening my letter at the time and then that would just cause more problems. Anyways hope all is well mate!
It probably something simple like "too much noise", or "parking with one wheel on my garden" We lived next door to someone who used to back up onto our garden every morning instead of suffering the horrible experience of reversing down their driveway and doing a three pointer. Eventually we just planted a tree in the way
You mean you didn't put land mines there? Or dig a huge concealed pit and watch their car disappear into it?
Wow, I've never seen disputes between neighbors go to getting lawyers involved. Is it so weird that you couldn't have simply talked to your neighbor to solve? I would agree though if it is something like noise complaints or littering or some-such, but that is surely handled by the police. Zoning issues are also local government/council affairs. Not much I can think of that requires contacting a lawyer/solicitor over. Am I the only American who hopes to see this sort of thing on Judge Judy? (if that show is still even on. It's been so long since I've watched US TV.)
yes, judge judy is still on. it's a guilty pleasure when i'm home sick. i'm curious as to what exactly is going on. when will he have a definative explanation?
We tried. He ignored us. It's something that will affect the value of our house so we had only one route left unfortunately. I promise I will explain it all, but it's all so insane at the moment I don't feel totally comfortable doing so. One interesting snippet, is that he has branded myself and my girlfriend in a letter as 'deviant' in relation to the content of our solicitors letter.
