Hi, I just built a new computer, and have always been into computers, but not so much this section of it untill recently. I've been looking around here, my friend directed me, and found that people are pretty nice and for helping each other out. So I was wondering if someone could assist me in a shove in the right direction. My specs at the moment are:

    CPU: AMD 4400+
    Motherboard: DFI LanParty UT CFX3200-DR
    RAM: 2x 1GB Corsair DDR 400
GPU: radeon x600, untill i can get enough money for a x1800 or x1900

I don't really want someone to hold my hand, but a link or advice on anything in the right direction would be awesome.

So you want to overclock? I suggest reading a few guides on the internet first, and then posting back with any problems. This is quite a good guide, I found.

First of all with the 4400+ Get a decent heatsink. I have the thermalright xp-90c. This will lower temps for better overclocking. Second is there are a few boards like www.dfi-street.com which is completely dedicated to DFI boards and overclocking.

Third is to use the search feature. Check what over people have done with their overclocking.

Forget the above tutorial check this out
