    Hello,

About to build a new system and this will be the first time I have used Water Cooling, so would appreciate any help. I will be using all Aqua Computer stuff.

    System Spec's:
    Case > Lian-Li PC-V1100
    MB > Abit Fatal1ty AN8
    CPU > AMD A64 3800+ or 4000+
    Graphics > X850XT PE

    Water Cooling:
    CPU > Cuplex Pro
    NB > Twinplex
    GPU > Twinplex
    Res > Aquatube
    Rad > 2x Airplex 120
    Pump > Aquastream 3.0 + FMJ
    Control > Aquaero

Here's my suggested layout. I am doing something special on top of the case at the front which leaves only enough space for a Airplex 120. The top Airplex for the GPU and the bottom one for the CPU & NB.

    Thanks in advance.

    Hmm

Splitting before the cpu is a bad idea in my opening, really you shouldnt split the loop at all but if you do it should be after the cpu

The fan at the back should blow air in then you have a 2in 2 out

But if you can try not to split the loop, get it all in a straight circuit

Thanks for the feedback. Good idea on the 2in 2out. The idea behind splitting the circuits was to balance the cooling load across the two rads but I can see your point on ensuring good water flow across both circuits. hmm maybe a rethink?

BTW My intention is to run this as passive cooling most of the time, i.e. surfing web, office duties, etc and the fans should only need to kick when the load increases such as games or rendering.

Here's a rework putting everything in parallel. Is this better?

    That looks better :)
IMO tho i would atleast run the fans at 5v so there is some airflow, it will make ALOT of diffrence and should be silent :)

Your second loop looks spot on! :thumb: Low flow watercooling like the AC stuff is in its element in multiple blocks loop such as yours. Theres no need to run it in parallel as it just adds additional complexity for little or no bennefit. Your going to have pretty good air flow through that case so you might even get away with a Zalman passive heatsink on your NB to save some cash.

From experience i would swap the fans around so you have cool air from the outside going through the rads and have the 2 exhaust fans as exhaust fans and taking the warm air out of the case otherwise you have hot air from inside your case going out through both rads which heats things up quite a bit.

Looking good. But just case you didn't know the inlet on a AquaStream is at the side and the outlet is on top.

So you will be able to mount it the right way up and not on it's side like you diagram.

Oh and while your at it I would swap the Cuplex PRO for an XT. It's just so cool :D
