OK, so my watch just broke.
It did cost 7Euros from France about 9 months ago, but I liked it.

Want one the same kinda style, but not too expensive, should I head to a local jewellers or is there a good place that Bit-tech know about?

Thanks guys! I thought of you first as the knowledge of Bit-tech far outweighs anything else!

I dropped my old one on a tile floor and made a right mess of its innards, so being a petrol head i got myself a Casio BTCC WVQ-570E-1AVER

Is the reason you got that Gunsmith because it has an incredibly long name?

The_Beast, That's a classic, but surely you would need a compass as well

Nope the position of the sun should tell you (rise east, set west), unless the sun is in the middle of the sky, but then you'd know it was noon

I like the casio wave ceptor watches, and the solar power option great. I got the retroish looking g-shock m5600, solar power only dropped to midway through the dark scottish winter nights, it's always accurate, and I can forget about needing to alter it for the BST to GMT changes as it does it for me.
