Cooling New watercooling, advice needed!!

    When seeing that, I realise that in a closed loop of course water can hardly overflow the res because there is only a constant ammount cycling through the system... (d'oh!). Still, with your particular setup you don't have to worry about trapped air in the rad anyway!

    But anyway, after all that I guess I look rather silly now! :blush:

    Well, I wasn't trying to make ya look silly. Just pointing out that there are lotsa options available. And some times the most popular aren't always the best. Also your point about the res/T overflowing would be true in some case. If my rad were restrictive or my res/T was between cpu and pump it would prolly overflow if given the chance. This thread has got me thinking and now I'm pretty sure I know a way to calculate the amount of head on a system. Gonna run it by a few people and see if they can test my theory.
