Only 900 pixels vertical.... a bit rubbish that really. I'd rather have a normal 19 inch doing 1280x1024

    LMAO.

The one capital letter used was for a smilie. Seems rather hypocritical IMO.

I was thinking of getting the same monitor, but think a 20" with a higher resolution would be more suitable for what Im looking.

Having said that though, that monitor is a dam good price, and seems to be getting pretty decent customer reviews on the many sites that now stok it.

    Acers : Good.
    Widescreen : Good.
    19" : Not bad.
    Price : Excellent.

Oooh nice! Your background makes the setup look even better! Perhaps I should buy another 2005fpw!

19" for a tv is ok I guess, although it's only 900pixels vertical, it's a tv and I dont think it will matter so much compared to a computer.

But didn't I see someone sell a 28" tft tv screen for £170 here the other day?

    EDIT: yeh, here.

Didn't see the bit that said you want it for TV. In that case.. definitely go for it.!

Agreed with the two above me - for a television/media monitor this will be top class. I hear very good things about that screen :)
