Hello all, i have a quick question for you i just heard about this new virus that has hit the market http://news.ft.com/cms/s/0d644d5e-7bb3-11da-ab8e-0000779e2340.html and am wondering if anyone knows any sites that have this virus on them or if someone could give a direction of where i can get infected by this virus. I know this sounds like a crazy request but, i work at an internet cafe that has people going to hundreds of random sites and we want to see if our deepfreeze will work against it. For those of you who do not know what deepfreeze is. It is a program that whenever the system is restarted it sets the system back to an original image.

    Thanks in advance
    Isho

Wouldn't spyware or any other virus test your software just as well? If you just need to make sure it wasn't there when the machine was rebooted, I would think you could hit a few sketchy websites and let them install Gator or some other spyware.

But he wants to be sure it'll work for this particular one, I'm sure it's very similar to every other piece of nasty crapware out there, but you never know ;).

Well, I know it allowed the execution of windows metafiles, even though they had been renamed as jpegs. It is not so much a virus, more of a loophole that can be exploited. Here is a website that lists the dodgy sites: http://blogs.guardian.co.uk/askjack/2005/12/zeroday_exploit_hits_windows_b.html

    Hope this helps :)
