SPST = Single Position Single Throw = On/Off (./.) SPDT = Single Position Double throw = On/Off but switching 2 circuits / DPST = Double Position Single Throw = On/Off/On (.|.) DPDT = Double Position Double throw = On/Off/On but switching 2 circuits | NO = Normally open = Momentary switch which is spring loaded in the Off position. NC = Normally Closed = Momentary switch which is spring loaded to the On position. Are there any others you need I can't think of any more atm?
You don't NEED a momentary switch but if you go the constant on switch you need to turn it off after you turn it on.
lol you can use it as a hardware way of annoying anyone who tries to use your comp without you there they wil flick the switch expecting the pc to start up and nothing will happen hence they will be stumped
