I expressed to one of my buddies the other day on how i was intrested in watercooling. he told me not 2 because it is a waste of my time. I would have to monitor my system the whole time it was on, and that on a humid day, the pipes would get condinsation on them, and ruin my system. well i thougt i would ask you people at this board.. thanks for your time! oPtics
IMHO 1.A well put together water system should be able to run on it's own with little supervision from you. Obviously checking everything is ticking over nicely, from time to time, is a given. But then surely someone who's prepared to put the amount of effort into their computer keeps an eye on their rig from time to time anyway. 2.To get condensation on your pipes, you'd have to be doing a DAMN good job of cooling the water. Your mate should tell us his secret! Condensation appears when something is colder than the ambient temp. of the air around it. Think about your windows on a cold day. Have you ever seen condensation on the outside? No. Why? Because of the heat of the house, the window will be warmer than the air outside (no condensation) but cooler than the air inside (condensation).
tnx Thanks for some enlightenment on the subject.. i plan to stick around here and soak up some more info on the subject, and try it out on my lower end system b4 i hit my main system. agen thanks. oPtics
Probably the most important thing to remember is always test any new system OUTSIDE the case! Good luck! Remember to post in the gallery when it's back up.
One of the best pieces of advise that I can give you is to search the comp mod sites and READ their reviews, articles, how-to's and how-NOT- to's. I personally have over 40 sites that I look over from time to time to find new wrightings of the subjects that I am interested in and I advize averybody to do the same. Look at what others have done and learn through their experiences. That is why we are all here. If you would like my list of comp review/mod sights just E me and I will be happy to share!! Good luck and remember to mod to your hearts content!!!

Remeber this? There are easier ways of killing a PC then putting water in it. But there's no better way IMO to keep it cool. Systems and setups are improving all the time because the information is getting out there to fill the demand. I should know, I posted an article on TiTch's first attempt at watercooling and we had the most hits in a 7 day period since the sites been running in its 2 1/2 year history. If see or do anything water related you guy's are the first to know.
