I just ordered the Asetek waterchill kit from kustompcs, and I was wondering where I get distilled water? Probably a really obvious answer, but I really have no clue!

    Sorry! and thanks!

It's much cheaper in supermarkets than motor stores such as Halfords...

De-ionised water is the same I believe and it's 79p for a litre and a half in Sainsburys, probably cheaper at somewhere like wilkos...

By the way - get it from by the washing machine powders, etc... as they sell pretty much the same stuff with the motor oil but it's at least double the price !

Damn Asda and their trainee staff! Took me about 20 minutes to find out that they don't stock deionised water anymore!

Off to Sainsbury's tomorrow it is, then. :)

Drove to Tesco at 4am this morning and bought 5 litres of branded (forget which brand... Tec-something or other) de-ionised water for £3.

That along with a Star Wars lego thing (Yoda as a lego model!). Haven't played with lego for around 10 years, so when I saw this, I had to have it :D Oh and a few pot noodles, bottle of vodka and some chicken legs!

It's not due to arrive until tomorrow, but I'll have pics/temps and a new overclock by Saturday!

Actually.. I'm not sure about the pics. I botched a 120mm top blowhole a couple of weeks ago by drilling screw holes in the wrong places... :/ Hopefully the window I've ordered will remedy that, though.

I managed to push my XP1700 JIUCB DLT3C/NF7-S V2.0/Corsair TwinX PC3200 setup to 2.3Ghz with air cooling. It was stable, but in the recent climate increase was running slightly warm for my liking.

Hoping to be able to push it even further when I've got the kit installed :D
