I have a Sound Blaster Audigy Platinum EX, how well does the NewQ work with this soundcard? Is there going to be a new product soon for use specifically with 5.1 soundcards? Answer; Yes, it does work with SB Audigy Platinum EX card however installing NewQ Platinum to your PC will not greatly enhance sound quality since NewQ Platinum only supports up to 4.1 channel speaker system. Yes, we will be launching 5.1 channel model in very near future. This model will be a combination of FM tuner, DVD player with 5.1 channel SRS Equalizer system. But, if you do have a 4.1 or less sound card, everyone I've ever seen that reviewed them said that it was a great product that gives great sound for these systems (plus they look really cool in a modded case). http://www.newq.com/
I have one and it's great, especially the FM tuner, which is really a nice feature to have since I don't have a radio. Like they said, it doesn't support digital speakers. If you have two sets of speakers, like I do, then It can give you the surround you want with just any crappy sound card you have. I'm very satisfied with it.
Ive got the external version and i love it... works like a beaut!!! Plus the remote and FM tuner own - i think im gettin rid of my Aiwa system soon cause of that thing and my new Z560 speakers
